The Vertical Shaft Planetary Concrete Mixer has one to two mixing stars that rotate around a central axis for intensive mixing with minimal material movement, resulting in perfect mixing quality and a high degree of material homogeneity. More than 40 years of experience in mixer manufacturing has led us to a virtually unbreakable gear train. The massive double horizontal design is powerful and shockproof. Optimum lubrication is achieved through an oil bath which gives each gear a good ride. The ventilated space inside the gear unit prevents overheating and possible breakdowns. Compared to twin-shaft mixers, the planetary mixer reduces cement consumption by up to 15% due to the counter-current action. Three-paddle sprockets last longer than two-paddle wheels and provide much better mixing. Water leakage is not possible due to rubber sealed discharge hatches, which are equipped with a powerful hydraulic opening and closing mechanism.
